(2019) Raw Honey is an honest, sentimental and adventurous collection of 33 original paintings. The works explore and evolve a variety of perceptions, locations and memories on hot pressed paper and raw canvas, specifically featuring the rolling hills of Greece, a flooded 4×4, a heated discussion and the long stretch of road to Roanoke. The collection is primarily a celebration of my Dad’s life and a proclamation that something sweet can come out of trauma.
