hike up harp hill

(2021) hike up harp hill is a 75-piece collection to take you to varying landscapes across the United Kingdom. (Similar to the 81 Wild collection, a US version that launched last year.)

With help from descriptions gathered from my collectors and watchers around the world, these pieces are an attempt to mentally, visually, romantically and creatively travel to 75 different places in Britain (chosen by my audiences). The artworks are abstract translations onto paper, putting a spotlight on each location’s weather, architecture, countryside, entertainment, colours, sounds etc.

Like my last landscape collection, the aesthetic is polaroid-esque, photographical and cinematic, capturing the place in one shot, in one slide, in one frame.. Colour is important; it draws your eye in instantly, gives you an automatic impression of the landscape and a feel for the character of the location.
