“Lakes, water, space, mountains, horseshoe mountain.
We took our then 15 month old with us to the Lake District, a special birthday celebration for me. Buttermere was one of the walks we did whilst we were there. As we walked past the tall trees with sunlight beaming down through the gaps in them, I felt such a pull to stand with them. I climbed up and stood alone, basking in the peace, the sunlight and a feeling of belonging. ”
