Nottingham

£65.00

An original painting from the hike up harp hill collection.

Red clay cliffs with horizontal lines of white quartz. Yellow Rape flower fields, sugar beat. Deep purples and lime greens. Robin hood Sherwood forest old curved oak woods. Lace making industry, red brick buildings. The river Trent.

The nightlife in Nottingham is really vibrant, warm and welcoming with lots of independent bars, jazz clubs, tapas restaurants, and live music venues branching off from the hub of the town square, inviting you in with neon red and blue signs. Street musicians often play drums and saxophones on the corners at night as people chatter and laugh from bar to bar. Nottingham Castle stands tall on the city edge with the mascot Robin Hood keeping it company. One of the oldest pubs in England ‘Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem’ sits nearby, carved out from part of the extensive cave network that still lies under parts of the city.
