Snapshot No. 25

An original painting from the Snapshots collection.

“We are having a super bloom of bluebonnets (lupine) here in Texas. This snapshot is of an area cleared of invasive cedar trees on our ranch last fall that revealed this lush patch of bluebonnets this spring. It feels like a metaphor- if we can clear away our negativity, intrusive thoughts, our junk and clutter and make space for what’s to come, we can be rewarded with beauty like this. ” – Anonymous

Fluid acrylic on Fabriano paper, 5″ x 6″, 2023.
