“Ah, the sunshine state. The greenery is lush and tropical. It’s really flat, and the animals are a part of the bright colors- there are bright green lizards, red and yellow birds, crocs, etc. The architecture is really influenced by the Spanish colonizers, with a lot of white houses with flatter red tile roofs. The Florida keys – home of Ernest Hemingway, his cats and key lime pie. The beautiful Everglade swamps full of alligators – it is humid and sticky. Beaches are far as the eye can see. Food from across the Caribbean and huge cocktails. Art Deco pastels, baby blues and pinks, sage green.”
